At Renascent, we understand women and men face recovery in different ways. In Canada, Renascent has led the way in pioneering gender-specific treatment programs tailored to meet the unique needs of women addicted to alcohol and drugs. In fact, Renascent was the first in Ontario to open a treatment centre exclusively for women.

All of Renascent's counsellors are professional women who are in active recovery. Due to their training and experience, our counsellors understand the stigma and shame women experience as an addict. They know firsthand how recovery from addiction is connected to other issues including trauma, eating disorders and relationships.
