Renascent created the Renascent Foundation to give people the power to help others reclaim their lives from alcoholism and drug addiction.

Renascent Foundation donors fund the best care – Renascent Complete Care – and help remove barriers to it.

You can help by donating, volunteering or attending an event.

With support, Renascent has been able to offer alcoholics and drug addicts new tools to help them stay sober. Donors have also given a voice to the invisible victims of addiction: families. Philanthropy is the key that has allowed Renascent to honour the addict and the family member as clients in their own right.

Donors also remove barriers. No one will be denied treatment for lack of funds. People living outside of Toronto are able to participate in Continuing Care and Essential Family Care through distant delivery. Women can access treatment for women by women. Wait times for assessments have been cut from three weeks to three days.

The Renascent Foundation is a separate organization from Renascent – a charitable, not-for-profit (#11911 5434 RR0001) that provides an annual grant to Renascent. This grant now represents more than half the funds Renascent needs to keep its doors open the way it envisions. Together with annual funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (which helps subsidize Renascent Primary Care and Essential Family Care), Renascent is able to provide exceptional service.
