Guardian Angels
Take someone under your wing. Become a Guardian Angel.
Our services are not covered by provincial health plans (e.g. OHIP) and while the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care provides about half the funding we need to operate, the Renascent Foundation must raise more than $1,400 for each person admitted to Primary Care. Donors therefore are the ones who ultimately safeguard access to lifesaving care.
87% of women and 75% of men treated at Renascent need financial support.
Guardian Angels – individually or collectively – take one, two, four or eight people under their wings with annual gifts of $1,400, $2,800, $5,600 or $11,200.
You have the option to give monthly or through a one-time donation.
Families and friends can unite with the common purpose of raising a Guardian Angel gift by utilizing our online fundraising tools. Honouring someone with a Guardian Angel gift is a powerful way to memorialize a loved one or celebrate a recovery milestone or wedding.
You can also become a Legacy Guardian Angel with a restricted gift of $25,000 – this way the interest from your donation sponsors one person’s treatment, year after year.
Guardian Angels are recognized with bronze ($1,400), silver ($2,800), gold ($5,600) and platinum ($11,200) plaques. With each gift renewal, a Guardian Angel’s plaque graduates to a higher step – we have 12 steps in total.
Become a Guardian Angel today by making your Angel gift online or by calling Jennifer Droulliard Duce, Manager of Major and Planned Giving at 416-847-6447 or jduce@renascent.ca.
